Below you will find a listing of our video-based Bible study series designed to support small groups, Sunday School classes, and other group learning settings. All of these resources are available FREE to download and print, or you may order printed guides from the FaithSearch store. This page serves as a hub for discovering quality, faith-building studies for small groups that encourage deeper understanding and discussion of God’s Word. We will add new studies in the near future to provide fresh content for your church group.

For the Facilitators or Leaders of a Small Group
One of the desirable features of the FaithSearch Bible Learning Center (BLC) is that access and use of the videos, courses, evangelism tools, and feature articles is all FREE! These resources are selected from the fifty-two-year, Bible-teaching ministry of Dr. Don Bierle, president of FaithSearch International. They are quality tools which will enhance everyone’s spiritual growth and ministry.
The development of the BLC is a work in progress. The FaithSearch team meets nearly every week to discuss and implement additions, changes, and improvements. Come back often to see what is new. You are also invited to suggest ideas which you believe would make the BLC an even more valuable source for you and others. Each study includes clear, easy-to-follow steps or facilitator notes at the beginning to help you confidently lead engaging Bible discussions. These straightforward guidelines are designed to simplify preparation and provide a rewarding experience for your group. You may project or put on screen each of the sessions for group-wide engagement. Whether you are leading a small group, Sunday School, or classroom, these resources will equip you to facilitate meaningful spiritual growth and interaction.
FaithSearch Discovery
This is the flagship series of FaithSearch International. As a result, many helps are available. These are summarized below.
- Video – 150 minute recording of the series is broken out into ten “Ah-ha!” Discoveries.
- Participant Guide (PG) – a 32-page manual for discussion and application after viewing each of the ten “Ah-ha!” Discoveries in the video. A digital copy is provided for online use and can be downloaded and printed. Instead of printing, it is both convenient and cost-effective ($3 each) to provide a manual for each participant by contacting the FaithSearch office.
- NOTES: A 1-page summary of the video content (with blanks to complete) for each of the ten “Ah-ha!” Discoveries in the series. A digital copy is provided for you to download and duplicate for participants if desired.
- Surprised by Faith third edition (SBF3) book – a 183-page text ($10), the foundation content for all the tools. Available at our store HERE or by contacting the FaithSearch office. (T-Th)
- Surprised by Faith Study and Discussion Guide (SDG) – a 110-page greater-depth workbook/manual to accompany SBF or the video series and to provide advanced study/preparation of each of the ten “Ah-ha!” Discoveries. Available at modest cost; group rates are offered.
Revealing the Fingerprints of God
The foundational question in Twenty-first Century world culture is not whether Christianity is true. Rather, it is whether a personal God even exists beyond the imagination and wishful thinking of theists. In this presentation, Dr. Bierle details three easily understood and persuasive reasons which reveal the “fingerprints” of God: the argument for Intelligent Design in nature; the validation of the historicity of the incarnation of Jesus Christ; and the common experience of life transformation seen in people everywhere who are born again through faith in Jesus. Indeed, the Bible states that the testimony of nature, history, and life transformation render people “without excuse” if they deny the existence of a personal creator God (Romans 1:18-20).
Discover the Reality of Knowing God
Observation of the myriad evils in the world have led many to agree with English writer, philosopher, lay theologian, and literary critic G. K. Chesterton: “Original sin is the only Christian doctrine that’s been empirically validated by 2,000 years of human history.” In other words, the evidence of history confirms our sin nature. Long before Chesterton even lived, God had already declared that the fundamental disharmony within human beings is a sin nature. This presentation takes you through seven steps to discover God’s revealed plan to redeem each person into a forgiven and eternal relationship with Him.
Growing Faith
This small group study is primarily intended to help a Christian believer build a Biblical foundation for Christian spiritual growth and a lifelong relationship with God. You will discover principles for maintaining a dynamic Christian faith including abiding in Christ, dependence on the Holy Spirit, and resisting the schemes of the devil. You will also develop the disciplines for experiencing victory in the Christian life including prayer, Bible study and fellowship with other believers. This series also includes small group discussion questions and Scripture memory verses and daily Bible readings. A ‘hands-on’ experience.
Dr. Don has been teaching the Word of God for over fifty years. This listing of small group studies here in the Bible Learning Center contains Biblical themes and topics of his teaching that have been audio or video recorded. Included with these are study guides written by Dr. Don to enhance and enrich Bible learners wishing to learn in a small group environment. Some have not been developed into courses, though may in the future. No enrollment or registration is required. It is Dr. Don’s prayer that these recordings will deepen your understanding and commitment to God’s Word and to holy living.
