The burden on His heart was clear. His parting words at the ascension were captured in Acts 1:8. “And you will be My witnesses, telling people about Me everywhere…!”
2. Feed My Sheep
The resurrected Jesus said to Peter in John 21:15, “‘Simon, son of John, do you love me more than all else?’ ‘Yes Lord,’ he answered, ‘you know that I love you.’ ‘Then feed my sheep,’ He said.”

Bible Learning Center Strategy
The Learning Center’s ultimate goal is evangelism, accomplished by maturing believers and equipping them to effectively reach the lost in their networks of influence. This is the outcome that the Center desires for every student.
Personalized learning
Individuals can learn at their own pace, first considering the core courses, and then selecting from a variety of Bible book or topical studies to fill in the gaps in their Biblical knowledge and understanding.
Tools for Both Students and Teachers
Throughout the curriculum, the approach is two-fold:
1. Make it “Bible for Life” – relevant content to be put into life practice, and...
2. Answer the “why questions” of the Christian faith – apologetic evidence.

The courses offered are drawn from the vast resources tested and used in ministry by FaithSearch since its establishment in 1979. Most have been written or recorded by President Don Bierle during nearly five decades of ministry service.

Does your ministry have any affiliations?
FaithSearch International is a donor-supported nonprofit 501.c.3. ministry. It is not affiliated with any church or denomination. FaithSearch has partnered in ministry with hundreds of churches, schools, and other organizations, and is a charter member with the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).
Do I need to register or become a member to use the Bible Learning Center?
The BLC is open and available to you without any orientation, registration, expectations, or cost. The “Resources” tab will point you to the evangelism tools, videos, newsletter articles, and small group options. Only the Bible courses in that tab will ask you to register. Some of the Bible courses include free text materials which are sent to you (without request) when you register. Thus, only for the Bible course section of the site do we need name, mailing address, E-mail, and phone number. It helps our office and Bible teachers to have contact information so they can assist you and discuss questions you may have. Everything else on the site is anonymous, but we always appreciate an evaluative note describing your experience, and you suggestions for improvement. There is a general response form under the “Contact” tab.
What is the cost to use the evangelism tools, view or facilitate the videos, read the newsletter articles, facilitate a small group, etc.
There is no cost to use any of the features on the BLC site, including the Bible courses. FaithSearch desires to freely answer questions and stimulate spiritual growth, whether you are an atheist, skeptic, new Christian, or seasoned veteran of the Christian faith. We trust God for the provision to keep doing so.
Can I use a video series, a selection of newsletter articles, or evangelism tools to facilitate a Bible class at my business, in my home/community, or as a class at church?
Yes. Use your creativity. There is a wealth of biblical and spiritual content to discover if you dig around a bit. Some of the teaching material has already been prepared for facilitation, including questions and answers for each session (go to “Small Groups” under the Resources tab). Some of the articles comprise a series which can also be used for a multi-session group class (e.g., “The Second Coming of Christ”). The site is a work in progress with frequent additions and improvements. Your suggestions for additions or improvements are welcome.
Do I need special equipment and software to take courses?
No. You would simply need a computer or tablet with an Internet connection.
Does the Bible Learning Center offer college credit or degrees?
No. The purpose of the BLC is to equip Christian believers for greater spiritual growth, and to invite skeptics to explore the evidence for Jesus Christ and the Christian faith. We want everyone to experience the joy of understanding and applying God’s Word. This is consistent with Ephesians 4:11-16, and John 21:15-17. We may at some time offer certificates for the completion of courses and for completing the core curriculum.
Do you offer support for the courses?
Yes. An administrative person will respond to your written request for help in a timely manner. This person will connect you with a Bible teacher for content questions or a technician if you need help to get started and progress through the course. Dr. Don has also written guidance throughout each course and adds an occasional video clip with encouragement.
How much time do I have to complete a course?
There are no time restrictions. Once you enroll, you can register for any of the courses. As you proceed through a course, the software will keep track of your progress. When you return after an hour, a day, a week, or longer, you can continue where you left off.
Does FaithSearch International have Bible teachers who can be invited to present the “Gospel with evidence” live?
Yes, we have been doing this for forty-eight years now – and counting. Indicate your interest using a contact form. We will get you some information and will explore options if you want.
